  I consider waiting 2 weeks just for the referral to be processed absolutely disgusting. Given that my Doctor thought the public system should have contacted me in this time frame I wonder if they are even aware that this is the current standard. If there is "a lot" to be done, how many other patients are currently waiting excessive periods, just for their referrals? It was apparent from the conversation I had that the staff member saw no issue with this.

  After receiving results from Dr Homar on the 5/8 he informed me that he was referring me to the public system (as per my request). He stated that it can take up to 2 weeks for the public system to contact me with an appointment. Having not heard from the public system I called his offices on the 18/8 to check with him. The person I was speaking to informed me that my referral had not yet been processed because "there is a lot of them" and she "only does that one day per week" and that she is "up to the morning of my referral" so mine "should be processed tomorrow, because she does them on Wednesdays".

  Dr Cerqui is a wonderful and trustworthy doctor and well worth the drive from Brisbane. Waiting times can be long but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

  Could not recommend these guys highly enough, we had all our scans with these guys and Dr. Homar looked after us very well! We will definitely be going back next time

  What a fantastic practice! I have been going here for years and have received the best of care from Dr Cerqui every single time. I have seen Dr Cerqui for gynaecology and obstetrics and both were positive experiences. I really trust him and his medical expertise. The staff are lovely and I am always given the time needed in my consultations. I highly recommend Women's Health Only. Amanda Donnelly.

  I would be more understanding of delays such as this were it the public system where resources can be stretched, however I paid good money to attend a private practice, and I expect better response times.

  Each day, as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, I work alongside ‘Women’s Health Only’ specialists Dr Anthony Cerqui and Dr Lanziz Homar. My work involves assisting with the care and treatment of women who have Pelvic Floor concerns. During this treatment I pride myself in creating meaningful relationships with the patients. Often times, this results in patients (who also attend ‘WHO’) spontaneously making reflection on the care they have received at ‘WHO’. It is with pleasure that I note the feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. Staff are regularly commended for their caring, friendly and helpful involvement with the patients, not only the doctors and nurses but also the reception staff; they always strive to do their best to ensure each patient leaves happy. As I have worked alongside ‘Women’s Health Only’ for 9 years I can confirm that these comments are valid. ‘Women’s Health Only’ manages to balance professionalism with care and compassion which, as a result, makes it an extremely pleasant practice to attend.
